The management of the Tema Development Corporation (TDC) has presented a set of musical instruments worth 5.5 million cedis to Tema Secondary School (TEMASCO). The donation was in response to an appeal by the school last year to provide its choir with instruments. Making the presentation, Mr Ebenezer Ayi-Bonte, managing director of TDC, who is also a member of the school's board of directors, hoped the students, particularly the choristers, would use the instruments judiciously. He said the TDC is concerned about the plight of the community and so offers assistance through its community development fund. Mr Ebenezer Owusu-Ansah, headmaster of the school, thanked the management of the corporation for the gesture and appealed to other organisations for assistance.
