TOSA USA - July 2007 MEETING MINUTES

Meeting started @ 3:30pm and copies of previous meeting minutes was passed around
 
The objective of the organization/meeting was discussed:
 
1. To put together resources to help the school
2. Help projects which need completing if possible
3. Elevating the image of the school
4. Networking among ourselves to help each other
5.To socialize and maintain contact with each other
 
To be able to achieve the objectives of the organization, the following items were proposed:
 
1.Expand membership by inviting other old students and encouraging them to come to meetings
2.Arrange meetings outside the tri-state area by members who are outside the tri-state zone
3.Members to elect to hold meetings in their respective localities/cities and the rest to be supportive by attending the meetings
4.Sheila & Tony to coordinate and register the group and open an account for dues to be paid
5. To organize the website in years groups, locations etc. for easy communication
6. Members to be responsible and follow through on responsibilities or assignments
7. member has a responsibility  and an obligation to help make the  association strong - TOSA USA BELONGS TO EVERY ONE!!!
8. DUES IS $ 100.00 (every January or $10.00 every month making it $120.00 - discount of $20.00 if paid by the end of January)
9.Ben Nyarku to be contacted to have a meeting with Mrs. Quansah about the needs of the school
10. TOSA USA to contact TOSA National about needs of school
11.Emmauel Osei promised to help school by building computers to be  shipped by association to school - members to discuss logistics of Shipment eligibility to the association was defined as anyone(faculty/student) who spent at least one (1) year in Tema Secondary School.
